Zegna Eyewear at Optikhuset Stockholm
Zegna Eyewear shares the understated elegance of the fashion house’s clothing. The eyewear is developed with Italy’s Marcolin under the direction of Artistic Director Alessandro Sartori, and follows the same colour palette as Zegna’s ready-to-wear and leather goods. Transparent elements, soft shades and tone-on-tone lenses are combined with small details such as engraved temple tips. The frames carry the 232 Road brand mark, a tribute to the panoramic road through the Alps that the founder had built in 1938.
Zegna was founded in 1910 by Ermenegildo Zegna in Trivero, in the foothills of the Italian Alps. It began as a wool mill. Around the mill grew Oasi Zegna, a nature reserve that today inspires the eyewear collections.
