Optikhuset Stockholm is a family-run business focused on eye care, optics and problem-solving. Since 1978, we have helped thousands of clients see better, feel confident in their glasses and resolve vision issues that others have been unable to solve. We are now located at Birger Jarlsgatan 2, but our experience, attention to detail and personal service remain exactly the same. We are licensed opticians with different areas of expertise and many years of experience, and it is precisely these differences that make us strong as a team.

We work with glasses, sunglasses and contact lenses, but also everything around them that helps you find the right model, the right fit and the right function. You do not just get a pair of glasses. You receive guidance to make a well-informed choice.

On-site workshop – faster solutions, better results

We have our own on-site workshop, giving us full control over the entire process, from selecting frames and lenses to edging and fitting. This means there is no need to send your frames away, and in many cases your new lenses can be fitted while you wait. Often, you can take your new glasses home the same day.

It saves you time and allows us to adjust your frames to a precise fit. You benefit from a better finish, shorter lead times and a more flexible solution if any adjustments are needed afterwards.

And if you have forgotten your usual glasses at home or lost them on the way? We can often prepare a pair of replacement glasses in around an hour.
