About the role:
As an optician with us, you are responsible for advanced eye examinations, contact lens fitting and professional advice, with plenty of time for every customer. You become part of a small team where everyone knows each other and our customers, and where your work with complex cases and advanced diagnostics makes a real difference to people.
Your main responsibilities::
- Carry out different types of eye examinations, from routine checks to more complex cases, including keratoconus, as well as vision correction
- Contact lens fitting, refitting and follow-up
- Professional advice on lenses and contact lenses based on each customer’s needs
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with our customers
- Work with colleagues on stock, orders and store routines
Who we are looking for:
- A licensed optician with several years of experience. This is not a position for a recent graduate
- Experienced in independently carrying out advanced eye examinations
- Experience of contact lens fitting, preferably including complex cases
- Fluent Swedish and English, spoken and written. We meet customers from all over the world
- A genuine interest in people, not just in vision problems
- You thrive in a smaller, close-knit workplace where you are more than a name on a schedule
